With just six more days until the start of the first season of the Global Poker League, four team managers have already announced their Wildcard picks.
The first team to announce their picks was the Paris Aviators of team manager Fabrice Soulier. Fabrice will join his own team as a player, and has announced High-Stakes wizard Alexandre “Alexmoon” Luneau as his last Wildcard choice to complete the Aviators’ line-up.

Liv Boeree of the London Royals was the next team manager to announce her Wildcard picks for this season. Liv continues the trend among the managers and joins her own team. The final Wildcard for London goes to none other than Sam Trickett, the UK’s all-time money leader in live tournament earnings.
Todd Brunson will join the Rome Emperors team as the Wildcard pick of team manager Max Pescatori, who comes on as Wildcard #2 for the Emperors. The two have been great friends for many years now – it will be interesting to see how this dynamic works for them in Season 1.
